However, a talk with Iceman changed how he saw himself and his sexuality. Men came to the X-Men right before Scarlet Witch's Decimation, keeping his powers when many of his friends lost them.

Captain Britain has always been a very important part of the X-Men, having led the team back when she was Psylocke. Betsy's mutant powers are telepathy and telekinesis, and she also has the requisite powers of Captain Britain - superstrength, invulnerability, and flight.

The two characters getting together made a lot of fans happy, as it finally brought together a popular X-Men ship.
